Studio Move: Fun with Paint! (Part 1)

Studio Move: Fun with Paint! (Part 1)
December 7, 2016 B. Pennington

So there we were, in shock by the fact that we are planning the Studio’s move in December! (Click here for more info on that.)  Aimee had already gone out and found some paint samples, so Calvin and Sophia decided that we all needed to go down to the new place and have some fun with paint sampling!

“Hmmmmmmm.”

Calvin surveyed the room. “Hmmmmm,” he said as he took it all in. It seems that he agreed that paint would really liven this place up a bit. He definitely thought that new flooring was a must (more about that in a future post).

“Mommy? Daddy? I have a few ideas!”

Of course, Sophia was not about to miss out on being part of the action and the decision-making process. So after some running around, checking out the other rooms, drinking her chocolate milk, and inhaling her “squeezy snack” (a.k.a. apple sauce), Sophia rolled up her sleeves and got to work giving direction where it was lacking. (We think she’s taking Lucy’s words about respecting your director in A Charlie Brown Christmas a little too seriously.) She quickly commented with a few ideas of her own.

Paint!

collage photoWell, the process did not take long and we tried out a few paint samples on the new walls. Grey is in! And we’ll be using a few different tones for the entry way and for the treatment rooms.

With the new flooring that will be installed at the end of December, we think this is going to look amazing! And we really think our clients will be pleased with all this work too!

Stay tuned for more posts about your Studio’s move, and look out for Part 2 of “Fun with Paint!” as the real painting has yet to begin! And don’t forget to check out the new online store and boutique!
